Photo Montage Research

The second step to preparing my own photo montage was to find other photo montage's and design styles that i like.



One such montage that i liked ,for both its style and ideas is the above montage used as a felix the house cat cd cover. I love the use of both colour and multiple images stuck together to frame felix as the ultimate rockstar. The bright and vibrant colors chosen suit felix's sytle of 80's electro clash music.





The above montage i found on the deviant art website by member Kugath also captured my attention. In this piece of work i love both the style and ideas put forward. This piece features interests such as djing that i wish to capture in my machine assignment. I also like the rough finish that gives the impression that the different parts of the collage have been roughly cut and pasted together. The absence of colour and the blank painted background draws the viewers attention into the primary figure .
